Donations

The Lefaivre Lions Club raises funds by organizing various activities throughout the year to be distributed to various people / organizations in need. 

If you wish to request a financial donation from the Lefaivre Lions Club, do not hesitate to contact us.

Below is an abbreviated list of activities, fund raisers, and donations the Club has accomplished since its birth:

• Financial support of the "Meals on Wheels" program by providing funds to purchase dishes and various pots and pans to ensure meals are hot when received.
• Rehabilitation of a mini-park at the Lefaivre Marina site.
• Provide on an annual basis a $1000.00 scholarship for a college or university level student, a $200.00 scholarship for a high school level student, and a $100.00 scholarship for an elementary school level student.
• Funds to rehabilitate Lajoie Street by installing park like benches and garbage bins along the street, and annually supply, install and maintain flower arrangements on each street lamp on Lajoie Street as well as the street leading to the Marina.
• Sponsoring the local "keep the school alive" committee.
• Participate in parish activities.
• Sponsored and organized the 125th anniversary of the St. Thomas de Lefaivre parish by donating $20,000.00.
• The Lefaivre Lions Club annually donates approximately $20,000.00 in its community. This amount is distributed to the handicapped, families in need, hospitals, St. Joseph elementary school, the local parish, the library, as well as to various local associations and organizations.
